I am Rebecca, the teacher behind At Peace Yoga Therapy, a British Wheel of Yoga teacher and a CNHC registered Yoga Therapist. I have been practising yoga for 24 years and have been teaching for 10 years.
My training is based in yoga, mindfulness and Ayurveda and I drawn inspiration from teachers through the yoga lineage of India and Tibet. As such I am always striving to bring yoga to people as a therapeutic way of restoring body, mind and emotional peace and balance. Sometimes we use movement, sometimes sound, or breath awareness practices and always relaxation, meditation and yoga nidra practices. My classes are 1.5 hours long to allow time and space for yoga, and thus for ourselves.
My aim is always to bring people back to themselves, back to their own peace within, working with the present moment and always starting where we find ourselves. Classes are suitable for all ages and abilities.
I also teach 1:1 yoga and offer yoga therapy sessions, which are all 1 hour long - please contact me for more information on this way of working with yoga.
